The Ramco Cements Ltd. has launched crack-resistant, premium blended cement called Ramco Supercrete. Touted as an alternative to 53 grade cement, it would address the need for high strength concrete and durability. It is compatible with m-sand. The cement will be initially produced at Ariyalur in Tamil Nadu. Ramco plans to produce four million tonnes, or 30% of the total production, of the new variety during FY20.
